Thats all, folks!
We are moved over. If you continue to receive the old addresses
and get "Not Found" on the website or connection failed for mail
you just need to wait. It shouldn't take more than an hour for your DNS
servers to flush their caches and retrieve the new information.
There is one major change in the area of spam protection: I have
implemented connection filtering based on the Spamhaus SBL and XBL
lists. The SBL is a list of IP addresses used by major spamming
operations and the XBL is a list of exploited "zombie" computers used
for spamming and other illicit purposes. I have evaluated these lists
over the past week and I feel that blocking these IPs will not cause any
legitimate mail to be blocked.
In the extremely unlikely event that legitimate email is blocked, it
will be bounced back to the sender with a message explaining why. If
someone tried to send you mail and got an error message "554 Service
Unavailable" that mentions spamhaus, please contact me and we can
resolve the situation.
Thank you,
Dan
