[isomerica-user] Unscheduled Downtime, Oct 23

We experienced some unscheduled and unfortunately very lengthy downtime
on Sunday, October 23 and Monday, October 24.  The power went out, and
with the UPS currently only having stale batteries, both machines lost
power.

For some reason gnat did not properly restore itself on powerup and hung
in an inconsistent state.  After my mother returned on Monday, she was
able to power cycle gnat and restore functionality completely.

Parts for the new server, colobus, arrive today and tomorrow.  It will
be assembled and installed sometime this week or next.  Then it will
undergo some heavy stress testing to ensure functionality.  My plan is
to shoot for moving into the colocation center sometime before December
first.
