[isomerica-user] Scheduled Maintenance Thursday 7/25

Greetings,

There will be some scheduled maintenance to replace the two system
drives on colobus.  The 10k RPM drives in there currently have not
experienced favorable failure rates and I think the 1U rackmount is
simply too demanding.  They will be replaced with (hopefully) more
reliable drives.

Since I am getting married on the 28th and I am way too busy, this work
will be performed by Derek tomorrow at 14:00.  This work SHOULD NOT be
service affecting - The failed drive will be replaced with a new one,
then the array will be reconstructed, then the other drive from the
array will be replaced and reconstructed.  In theory, this can all be
down without shutting the system down.

However, please be aware that maintenance will be occuring and if things
do go wrong the system may need to be restarted.
