[isomerica-user] Scheduled Maintenance Friday May 18, 09:00

Recently colobus experienced some minor issues relating to filesystem
corruption on the backup drive. Based on the similarity to the
previous incident which was due to a bad memory module, and the fact
that memory from that batch is still in the system, I am planning to
swap out the current set of memory modules with an entirely new set on
Friday morning. Hopefully this will avoid the gradually worsening
situation we experienced before, and will allow me to test the existing
Kingston memory modules offline in a different system.

Colobus's Operating System kernel will also be upgraded at this time.

This is scheduled to occur at approximately 09:00 (AM), Friday May 18.
You should log out before that time in order to avoid losing any data
you're working with. I anticipate that total downtime will be less
than an hour.

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thanks,
Dan
